About Dan and Allison

A short Bio of Dan and Allison...

Dan:

I've loved knots since childhood. When I was young I would sit and read the Boy Scout Handbook's knot tying section for hours. The look, feel, and practical application of knots in every aspect of life has always interested me. From the time I was a young man I've had an interest in jewelry, and as an adult I have learned the skill of working precious metals. I have a love for Celtic music and culture as well, and have always loved making things. It is a blessing to have found a way to fuse so many of my interests into the making of hand-woven jewelry in fine silver and gold. I take pride and have great joy in my work, and I think it shows.

Allison:

I have travelled all around the world and have tried to immerse myself into the culture everywhere I've been. No place do I feel more at home than my homeland of Australia. But second to that, I have come to love the rich Irish and Scottish cultures. As a young girl I read a book about a jewelry maker and found it fascinating. It wasn't until I met Dan that I realized that I was destined to learn a craft that I'd only dreamed about as a girl.
